Election Day...

...was yesterday. I encourage you to keep tabs on what's happening: http://www.cnn.com. If my school ran the election, Kerry would have like 80% of the votes, Bush like 15% and Nader a full 5%.

You know, even if Bush wins, I'm considering Kerry my president. You know, if he wins, it's not the fault of New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, or Massachusetts. We voted for Kerry. As of now, last updated at 10:16 a.m., Bush officially has 254 and Kerry 252 electoral votes.

You know what's interesting? No matter what happens, it's so close that half the country will hate the president. I think they should just have a joint presidency. No, no I don't. I really want it to fully be a Massachusetts year. That was our rationalization of the Sox winning the World Series: maybe it'll be the year for Massachusetts to win it all, including the election.

And you know what? In the District of Columbia, i.e. Washington, D.C., 90% of the votes went to Kerry, 9% to Bush, and 1% to Nader.

You know, the 13 original colonies should just form their own government with Kerry as president. New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Delaware...the original Northeastern colonies all went for Kerry. Let California, Oregon and Washington join us too, the north-central blue states around Michigan too...that's a pretty nice territory. And we get Hawaii: they went Democratic this year too. Then we can once again try to establish a difference between church and state.
